Quick Start

Pulse Mode Setup

This procedure assumes that you have connected the proper pulse mode wiring as described

in the "Installation" section of this manual.

1. Select the “Pulse Mode” radio button from the Operating Mode group.

2. Select one of the Interpretation group radio buttons; “Pulse/Pulse”, “Pulse/Direction” or

“Pulse/Quadrature”.

3. Select Differential or Single Ended from the Source group.

4. Enter a “Ratio”. The default is 1 output motor revolution to 8192 input pulse counts. This

can be a signed (+/-) number.

Note

The coarsest ratio possible is 10 input counts per motor revolution. Settings below this

will cause an overspeed fault.

5. If needed, enable the “Following Error Limit” by checking the “Enable” check box.

6. Enter a value between 0.0010 and 10.000 revolutions of the motor.

Velocity Mode Setup

The following Velocity mode setup procedures assume that you have connected the proper

analog command wiring as described in the “ Installation” section of this manual.

Velocity Analog Submode Setup

1. Select the “Velocity Mode” radio button from the Operating Mode group.

2. Select the “Analog” submode radio button from the Submode group.
